About Us
Bharathiyata Anusandan Kendra Trust (BAKT) is a trust inspired basically by this country Bharat, Gurudev Pujya Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji, Guruji Sri.Ravindar Sharmaji and and Sri.Dharampalji. It was formed by our dear founder Acharya Prashanthji as a culmination of his research and travel through Bharat and interaction with the above illustrious personalities since 1995.
Our mission is to help seekers who are interested in Bharathiyata discover more about Bharat, its glorious past, present and take responsibility in moulding its future. We aim to make it clear for every visitor of this website and every seeker the relevance of Bharathiyata in the ancient times and its usefulness in the modern times too.
The glorious past of Bharat is known to many of us but what we don’t understand is;
- What made Bharat so glorious?
- What made Bharat loose it’s glory?
- Can Bharat regain it’s lost glory?
BAKT offers to find the answers to these and many other questions that arise in the minds of many Bharatiyas (Indians). We offer many Workshops, Seminars, Lecture Series and Hands On Programs which will take a seeker through the possible answers to many questions about this great land of wonder called Bharat.
Bharathiyatha Anusandan Kendra Trust and the program Bharathiyatha is a sincere effort to bring the understanding of Bharat and it’s glorious lifestyle to people who seek to understand this country. It will take a seeker through the depths of Bharatiya Sabhyata (Civilisation), Samskriti (Culture), Jeevan Shaili (Life Style), Dharohar (Heritage) and Parampara (Tradition). At the same time live in the modern world without being affected by the “Side effects”, “Contraindications” and “Condtridictions” of modernity.
Know Bharat
Bharat is a land of eternal spiritual knowledge, material abundance, diverse cultures, many languages and dialects, multiple cuisines, unique ethnic wares, intricate architecture, manifold agricultural produce, myriad climatic and geographical zones and many more.
Yet in this diversity there is a silent, unwritten, unique common thread. At the outset it looks too complicated and difficult to understand; yet it is very simple.
Modernity and modern life is fast and extremely stressful. The modern “info age” gives a feeling of “know all” and yet it is very shallow (just skimming on the surface). People neither have time nor to inclination understand the intricacies of this land Bharat. Moreover many feel it is futile remembering or trying to bring back the lost glory.
Bharathiyatha is a sincere effort to bring this understanding to people who seek it. Bharathiyatha takes a seeker through the depths of Bharatiya Civilisation (Sabhyata), Culture (Samskriti), Life style (Jeevan Shaili), Heritage (Dharohar) and Tradition (Parampara).
The way forward includes revival of the Knowledge, Traditions, Culture, Practices and all the good from the past, integrate it with the best from the present and bring about a wonderful new way of leading a good life. This is very crucial to build a strong society akin to “Ancient roots and Modern shoots make A Beautiful Tree”. We offer Programs and Services for Advancement of Religion, Spirituality, Yoga, Culture, Traditions, Artisanal Crafts and various skill developments.
We plan to establish Bharathiyata Anusndan Kendras across the country. These Kendras will offer all programs for those sincere seekers who want to learn Bharathiyata. The founding centre at Bangalore would be named Bharathiyata Academy of Research and Implementation (BARI). This will have an Administrative office in Bangalore city and the actual Academy is planned to be established at a one acre land at Aramane Honnamachanahalli (P Honnamachanahalli) village, Huliyurdurga Hobli, Kunigal Taluk, Tumkur District, Karanataka.
