The 33 Parvas or Festivals that we celebrated in 12 months were very beautifully spread through the Shad Rithus (six seasons) and were indicators of a Seasonal Regimen.
Education in Bharat was for life and not livelihood. Gurukuls, Acharaya Kulams, Veda Pattashalas, Agama Pattashalas and Viharas have been the mainstream units of formal education in Bharat.
Ganitha included Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Applied Maths like Trigonometry, Integration, Differentiation, Calculus etc. and all this for understanding Jyothish which is Cosmology.
Music, dance, painting, sculpting, metal casting and many more art forms have been an integral part of our Bharathiya way of life.
It includes many technical aspects like Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Arts & Crafts like Black Smithy, Gold Smithy, Metallurgy, Metal Casting, Sculpting, Carpentry, Masonry etc.
Justice was based on various Smritis like Manu Smriti, Yagnavalkya Smriti, Shanka Smrithi, Parashara Smrithi which carry the Danda Neethi – Retribution Means for Nyaya Vyavastha or Justice System.

Meet Our Founder
Sri.Prashanth V Kumar was born in Chertala in Allapuza district of Kerala. Acharya Prashanthji as he is fondly called, has been a Faculty with The Art of Living for about 25+ years, spreading Gurudev Poojya Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji’s divine knowledge across the length and breadth of Bharat and also to some foreign soils. He was sure that this land Bharat was a world leader in Spiritual and Religious realms.
